Opening Remarks at the Service for Unity in Our Faith Community

God is love.
In Him we may live, move and be.
Inspired by this love, we remember Jesus,
who prayed several times to his heavenly Father as an example.

Jesus prayed to the Father
that we might all be one
and share in his joy.

Let us then gather as one community,
as children of the same Father,
around his Word and table
to joyfully celebrate service to God.
