Een vergaderplaats om vrede en liefde met elkaar te delen

Als navolgers van Jezus Christus trachten wij de wijsheid van boven te verkrijgen. Voor ons is het allerbelangrijkst dat alle leden van onze gemeenschap zich bereid voelen om te gehoorzamen aan de wetten of geboden van God en regelgeving van Christus Jezus.

“De wijsheid, die van boven komt, is vóór alles rein, maar ook vredelievend, inschikkelijk, gezeggelijk, vol barmhartigheid en goede vruchten, onpartijdig, ongeveinsd;” (Jakobus 3:17)

Jezus vroeg zijn apostelen uit te gaan naar dorpen en steden om het Goede Nieuws te brengen. Daar moesten ze dan iemand zoeken bij wie ze konden logeren. En waar ze hartelijk werden ontvangen moesten ze vriendelijk zijn en konden ze vrede toewensen aan diegene waar ze welkom waren. Het waren op zulke plaatsen waar ze onderdak verkregen, dat ze het geloof verder konden verspreiden. Zo ook kunnen wij ons gelukkig prijzen dat wij bij een gezin terecht kunnen om verder over ons geloof te vertellen. We wensen dat gezin dan ook vrede toe.

“11 In welke stad of dorp gij ook komt, onderzoekt, wie daar de waardigste is; en blijft bij hem, totdat gij weer afreist. 12 Als gij dat huis binnentreedt, brengt het uw groet. 13 En zo dat huis het waardig is, dan daalt uw vrede er over neer; zo niet, dan keert uw vrede terug op u.” (Mattheüs 10:11-13)

Maar al te snel vergeten we als we ergens binnen komen te zeggen:

« Sjalom »  [‘Shalom aleikhem!’]

of

« Vrede zij met u! »

Nochtans is het belangrijk dat we elkaar vrede toewensen.

“De vrede aan u, vrede aan uw gezin, vrede aan allen, die u toebehoren!” (1 Samuël 25:6)

Binnen de muren waartussen wij ons kunnen bevinden moet er liefde en vrede heersen. Het is in zulke beschutte plaatsen dat we elkaar als broeders en zusters moeten vinden.

“7 Vrede zij binnen uw muren, Heil binnen uw burchten! 8 Om mijn broeders en vrienden Bid ik de vrede over u af;” (Psalmen 122:7-8)

“5 Wanneer gij een huis binnenkomt, zegt dan eerst: Vrede aan dit huis! 6 En als daar een kind van de vrede woont, zal uw vrede op hem rusten; zo niet, dan keert hij terug op u.” (Lukas 10:5-6)

In het huis of tempel waar we welkom zijn om te vergaderen kunnen volwassenen en kinderen, gedoopten en ongedoopten elkaar in vrede vinden en van de liefde proeven die broeders in Christus onder elkaar delen. Want de gedoopten treden dar op als gezanten van de Nazareense leermeester, Jeshua ben Josef (Jezus Christus) die heer over ons is. Aan allen rondom ons verzoeken we dat ze zich zouden verzoenen met God, nu het nog kan.

“Dit is het woord, dat hij aan de kinderen Israëls heeft verkondigd. toen hij de blijde boodschap bracht van vrede door Jesus Christus: Hij is de heer van àllen.” (Handelingen 10:36)

“In Christus’ naam treden we dus als gezanten op, alsof God zelf door ons vermaant. In Christus’ naam smeken we u: Verzoent u met God.” (2 Corinthiërs 5:20)

“Want zo we met God zijn verzoend door de dood van Zijn zoon, toen we nog vijanden waren, hoeveel te meer zullen we gered worden door zijn leven, nu we met hem zijn verzoend.” (Romeinen 5:10)

“om beiden in één Lichaam met God door het stuk hout te verzoenen, en zó de vijandschap te doden.” (Efeziërs 2:16)

“ik hoop u echter spoedig te zien, en dan zullen we spreken van mond tot mond. (1-15) Vrede zij u! De vrienden groeten u. Groet de vrienden één voor één!” (3 Johannes 1:14)

Dat groeten onder elkaar is een teken van verwantschap en liefde voor elkaar. Het samen zijn met zulk een gevoelen van vertrouwen en gemeenschap maakt dat we ook op elkaar letten om tot liefde en juiste werken aan te sporen.

“23 Laat ons onwrikbaar vasthouden aan de belijdenis van de hoop; want Hij die de belofte deed, is getrouw. 24 Laat ons elkander gadeslaan, om ons tot liefde te prikkelen en goede werken; 25 verwaarloost het gemeenschapsleven niet, zoals sommigen plegen te doen; maar vermaant elkander, te meer, daar gij de Dag ziet naderen.” (Hebreeën 10:23-25)

Indien wij waarlijk de gehele gemeenschap van broeders liefhebben, zullen we bemerken dat we ons niet van hen kunnen afzonderen. Ook al mogen we ons in een heel kleine gemeenschap of huiskerk bevinden, blijft er die verbondenheid met andere broeders en zusters over de gehele wereld. Liefde zoekt altijd het voorwerp van haar genegenheid; ze kan niet alleen blijven.

Ook voor al diegenen die ons zouden weten te vinden, moeten we de deuren open stellen en laten zien dat men bij Christadelphians welkom is. Zij die ons willen komen bezoeken moeten voelen dat we niemand uitsluiten. Met allen die langs komen moeten we omgaan, en moeten we dit met positieve gedachten doen, om goed te doen jegens anderen, heilzaam te zijn en niet slechts om persoonlijk bevoordeeld te worden door alleen maar te willen ontvangen.

Samen komend in een ecclesia, zij het een huiskerk, koninkrijkszaal, hal of tempel, moeten we aan iedereen laten voelen dat wij open staan om hen te ontvangen en op te vangen. In die ruimte van samenkomst moeten wij ten volle open staan om in waardering voor elkaar te groeien.

Un lieu de rencontre pour partager la paix et l’amour entre eux

En tant qu’imitateurs de Jésus-Christ, nous essayons d’obtenir la sagesse d’en haut. Pour nous, le plus important est que tous les membres de notre communauté se sentent disposés à obéir aux lois ou aux commandements de Dieu et aux règlements du Christ Jésus.

“La sagesse qui vient d’en haut est pure avant tout, mais aussi paisible, accommodante, disant, pleine de miséricorde et de bons fruits, impartiale, non feinte ;” (Jacques 3 :17)

Jésus a demandé à ses apôtres d’aller dans les villes pour apporter la Bonne Nouvelle. Là, ils ont dû trouver quelqu’un avec qui rester. Et là où ils étaient chaleureusement accueillis, ils devaient être amicaux et souhaiter la paix à ceux où ils étaient les bienvenus. C’est dans de tels endroits qu’ils obtinrent refuge qu’ils purent répandre davantage la foi. De même, nous pouvons nous considérer chanceux de pouvoir contacter une famille pour discuter davantage de notre foi. Nous souhaitons cette paix familiale.

“11 Dans quelque ville ou village que vous veniez, examinez qui est le plus digne ; et demeurez avec lui jusqu’à ce que vous voyagiez de nouveau. 12 Lorsque vous entrez dans cette maison, cela vous apporte votre salut. 13 Et si la maison en est digne, votre paix descend sur elle ; sinon, votre paix vous revient.” (Matthieu 10 : 11-13)

Trop tôt, quand on entre quelque part, on oublie de dire:

« Shalom » [‘Shalom aleikhem!’]

ou

« La paix soit sur vous! »

Il importe toutefois que nous nous souhaitions mutuellement la paix.

“Paix à toi, paix à ta famille, paix à tous ceux qui t’appartiennent !” (1 Samuel 25 :6)

Dans les murs entre lesquels nous pouvons nous trouver, il doit y avoir l’amour et la paix. C’est dans des lieux si abrités qu’il faut se retrouver frères et sœurs.

“7 Que la paix soit entre vos murs, Salut dans vos forteresses! 8 Pour mes frères et amis, je prie pour la paix sur vous ;” (Psaumes 122 :7-8)

“5 Lorsque vous entrez dans une maison, dites d’abord : Paix à cette maison! 6 Et si un enfant de paix y habite, ta paix reposera sur lui ; sinon, il reviendra vers toi.” (Luc 10 : 5-6)

Dans la maison ou le temple où nous sommes invités à nous rencontrer, adultes et enfants, baptisés et non baptisés peuvent se retrouver en paix et goûter à l’amour que les frères en Christ partagent entre eux. Pour l’acte baptisé en tant qu’envoyés du professeur nazaréen, Jeshua ben Josef (Jésus-Christ) qui est seigneur de nous. Nous demandons tout autour de nous de nous réconcilier avec Dieu tant qu’ils le peuvent encore.

“C’est la parole qu’il a proclamée aux enfants d’Israël Lorsqu’il a apporté l’heureux message de paix par Jésus-Christ, Il est le seigneur d’Allen.” (Actes 10 :36)

“Ainsi, au nom de Christ’, nous agissons en envoyés, comme si Dieu lui-même nous réprimandait. Au nom de Christ’, nous vous supplions : Réjouissez-vous avec Dieu.” (2 Corinthiens 5 :20)

“Car si nous sommes réconciliés avec Dieu par la mort de Son fils, lorsque nous étions ennemis, combien plus serons-nous sauvés par sa vie, maintenant que nous nous sommes réconciliés avec lui.” (Romains 5 :10)

“pour réconcilier les deux avec Dieu dans un seul Corps à travers le morceau de bois, et ainsi tuer l’inimitié.” (Éphésiens 2 :16)

“, cependant, j’espère vous voir bientôt, et ensuite nous parlerons de bouche en bouche. (1-15) La paix soit avec toi! Les amis vous saluent. Saluez les amis un par un !” (3 Jean 1:14)

Les salutations entre eux sont un signe de parenté et d’amour l’un pour l’autre. Être ensemble avec un tel sentiment de confiance et de communauté signifie que nous prêtons également attention les uns aux autres pour encourager l’amour et les bonnes œuvres.

“23 Accrochons-nous inébranlablement à la confession de l’espérance ; car Celui qui a fait la promesse est fidèle. 24 Regardons-nous les uns les autres, pour nous provoquer à l’amour et aux bonnes œuvres ; 25 ne négligez pas la vie communautaire, comme certains ont tendance à le faire ; mais réprimandez-vous d’autant plus que vous voyez le Jour approcher.” (Hébreux 10 : 23-25)

Si nous aimons vraiment toute la communauté des frères, nous constaterons que nous ne pouvons pas nous séparer d’eux. Même si nous sommes dans une très petite communauté ou église de maison, il reste ce lien avec d’autres frères et sœurs du monde entier. L’amour cherche toujours l’objet de son affection ; elle ne peut rester seule.

Nous devons aussi ouvrir les portes à tous ceux qui voudraient nous trouver et montrer que les Christadelphes sont les bienvenus. Ceux qui veulent venir nous rendre visite doivent sentir que nous n’excluons personne. Nous devons traiter avec tous ceux qui passent, et le faire avec des pensées positives, pour faire du bien aux autres, pour être bénéfiques et pas seulement pour être personnellement favorisés en voulant simplement recevoir.

En nous réunissant dans une ecclesia, qu’il s’agisse d’une église de maison, d’une salle du royaume, d’une salle ou d’un temple, nous devons faire sentir à chacun que nous sommes ouverts à les recevoir et à les recevoir. Dans cet espace de réunion, nous devons être pleinement ouverts à une appréciation croissante les uns des autres.

Kila mtahiniwa wa ubatizo anatarajiwa kuwa na ujuzi wa kimsingi wa Ukweli wa Kibiblia. Kwa maana hii, mazungumzo mengi ya pande zote yataweza kuweka wazi. Uelewa wa wazi na ufahamu wa nini maana ya mgawo na ubatizo inachunguzwa katika mazungumzo kadhaa yanayotangulia ubatizo. Akiwa Yeshua, au mfuasi wa Yeshua (Yeshua ben Yosefu au Yesu mwana wa Yusufu), kuzamishwa ndani ya maji kunaonyesha kwamba mtu hujiingiza katika utakaso kupitia damu ya Yesu na anataka kujumuishwa katika jumuiya ya ndugu na dada katika Kristo, au jumuiya ya Christadelphian.

Le candidat prêt au baptême

 

Pendant le pèlerinage, il arrive un moment où l’on réalise clairement quel chemin prendre et comment mettre fin à son ancienne vie.

Chaque individu, à un autre moment de sa vie, rencontre un moment tel qu’il y a suffisamment de perspicacité pour réaliser qu’il faut se tourner et dire au revoir à l’ancienne vie.

Ceux qui se rendent compte qu’ils peuvent le mieux se présenter comme candidats au baptême seront accueillis à bras ouverts pour franchir cette étape. Mais il faudra qu’ils puissent prouver qu’ils sont prêts à se faire baptiser.

Chaque candidat au baptême est censé posséder une connaissance fondamentale de la vérité biblique. À cette fin, de nombreuses conversations mutuelles pourront être claires. Une compréhension et une conscience claires de ce que signifient l’assignation et le baptême sont explorées dans plusieurs conversations qui précèdent le baptême. Nous vérifierons également dans notre confrérie si le candidat au baptême est bien conscient des conséquences du baptême. Car une fois baptisé, certaines ‘obligations envers Jéhovah’ sont attendues.

Si l’on est baptisé, cela signifie que l’on veut faire avancer les choses avec l’ancienne vie, et que l’on veut entrer dans une nouvelle vie en tant que disciple de Jésus-Christ. En tant que Jeshuaiste, ou disciple de Jeshua (Jeshua ben Joseph ou Jésus le fils de Joseph), l’immersion dans l’eau indique que l’on se livre à la purification par le sang de Jésus et qu’on veut être inclus dans la communauté des frères et sœurs en Christ, ou la communauté christadelphienne.

Le candidat au baptême est censé reconnaître la position et l’autorité de Christ et se rendre compte que Jésus est celui par qui Dieu a fourni à „ un rançon” correspondant. Nous attendons du baptisé qu’il soit conscient qu’il n’y a qu’un seul Dieu et qu’un seul médiateur entre Dieu et l’homme. (1 Timothée 2 :5) Ceux qui travaillent dans la communauté ecclésiale ne sont que des serviteurs de et pour Christ et son Dieu. Ils sont tous aussi faillibles que n’importe quelle autre personne, mais doivent s’engager pleinement dans le travail ecclésial. Ce sont de tels serviteurs de Dieu qui inviteront au baptême et plongeront quelqu’un au nom de Jésus. L’un des anciens peut donc demander qu’il n’hésite plus et qu’il soit immergé afin que le baptisé soit lavé de ses péchés et déclaré juste par le candidat au baptême Jesus’ invoquant son nom. (Actes 22 : 12-16).

The ready baptismal candidate

 

During the pilgrimage there comes a time when one clearly realises which path to take and how to put an end to one’s former life.

Every individual, at another time in his or her life, encounters such a moment that there is sufficient insight to realise that one must turn and say goodbye to old life.

Those who realise that they can best stand as candidates for baptism will be welcomed with open arms to take that step. But they will have to be able to prove that they are ready to be baptised.

Every baptismal candidate is expected to possess a fundamental knowledge of Biblical Truth. To this end, many mutual conversations will be able to make clear. A clear understanding and awareness of what assignment and baptism mean is explored in several conversations that precede baptism. We will also check in our brotherhood whether the baptismal candidate is well aware of the consequences of baptism. Because once one has been baptised, certain ‘obligations towards Jehovah’ are expected.

If one is baptised, this means that one wants to make things done with the old life, and that one wants to enter a new life as a follower of Jesus Christ. As a Jeshuaist, or follower of Jeshua (Jeshua ben Joseph or Jesus the son of Joseph), the immersion in the water indicates that one indulges in purification through Jesus’ blood and wants to be included in the community of brothers and sisters in Christ, or the Christadelphian community.

The baptismal candidate is expected to recognise Christ’s position and authority and realise that Jesus is the one through whom God has provided „ with a corresponding ransom”. We expect the baptised person to be aware that there is only one God and one mediator between God and man. (1 Timothy 2:5) Those who work in the church community are only servants of and for Christ and his God. They are all as fallible as any other person, but should be fully committed to ecclesial work. They are such servants of God who will invite baptism and immerse someone in Jesus’ name. One of the elders may therefore request that he no longer hesitate and be immersed so that the baptised person may be washed away his or her sins and declared righteous by the baptismal candidate Jesus’ invoking his or her name. (Acts 22:12-16).

De klaarstaande doopkandidaat

 

Tijdens de pelgrimstocht komt er een moment dat men duidelijk beseft welke weg men moet op gaan en hoe men komaf kan maken met het vroegere leven.

Ieder individu, op een ander ogenblik in zijn of haar leven, komt zulk een moment tegen dat er voldoende inzicht is om te beseffen dat men moet keren en het oude leven vaarwel moet zeggen.

Zij die beseffen dat ze zich best kandidaat kunnen stellen voor een doopsel, zullen met open armen ontvangen worden om die stap te ondernemen. Maar ze zullen moeten kunnen bewijzen dat ze er klaar voor zijn om gedoopt te worden.

Van iedere doopkandidaat wordt verwacht dat hij of zij een fundamentele kennis van de Bijbelse Waarheid bezit. Hiertoe zullen onderlinge gesprekken al veel duidelijk kunnen maken. Een duidelijk begrip en besef van wat opdracht en doop betekenen wordt gepolst in meerdere gesprekken die het doopsel voorafgaan. Eveneens zullen we in onze broederschap nagaan of de doopkandidaat goed beseft wat de gevolgen van een doopsel zullen zijn. Want eens men gedoopt is worden er wel bepaalde ‘verplichtingen tegenover Jehovah’ verwacht.

Als men zich laat dopen houdt dat in, dat men gedane zaken wil maken met het oude leven, en dat men een nieuw leven wil instappen als volgeling van Jezus Christus. Als Jeshuaist, of volgeling van Jeshua (Jeshua ben Josef of Jezus de zoon van Jozef) geeft men dan door de onderdompeling in het water aan dat men zich over geeft aan de zuivering door Jezus’ bloed en men wil opgenomen worden in de gemeenschap van broeders en zusters in Christus, of de Christadelphian gemeenschap.

Van de doopkandidaat verwacht men dat deze Christus’ positie en autoriteit erkent en beseft dat Jezus degene is door bemiddeling van wie God „een overeenkomstige losprijs” heeft verschaft. We verwachten dat de dopeling er van bewust is dat er slechts één God is en één bemiddelaar tussen God en de mens. (1 Timotheüs 2:5) Zij die in de kerkgemeenschap werk leveren zijn slechts dienaren van en voor Christus en zijn God. Zijn zijn allen even feilbaar als enige andere mens, maar horen zich volledig in te zetten voor het ecclesiaal werk. Het zijn zulke dienaren van God die tot de doop zullen uitnodigen en iemand zullen onderdompelen in Jezus’ naam. Een van de ouderlingen zal dan ook kunnen verzoeken om niet meer te aarzelen en zich te laten onderdompelen zodat de dopeling zijn of haar zonden weg mogen gewassen worden, en rechtvaardig verklaard worden, doordat de doopkandidaat Jezus’ naam aanroept. (Handelingen 22:12-16).

A world where one must make oneself clearly known #1 From the first to the 19th century

In this world where there is a lot of commotion, there is little room for the Divine Maker, and the majority of the people in our region are busy collecting money and material goods.

Yet there are certain people, who are often looked at as madmen, who afford to look beyond this earthly world. They are firmly convinced that in the future, after a terrible war (World War 3 or Armageddon), there will be a much better will develop a world in which people will be fully happy.

For some years now there have been such people in Belgium who also try to convince others that there is a better future ahead, for a long time it was just lonely goons or lonely trekkers who moved from « Jet » to « Jar » to proclaim the Good News for a long time they had to feel lonely in a world where there was little obedience to that special news.

But things started to stir in the capital of Europe during the previous year. Some people indicated that they no longer wanted to move up alone, but that they wanted to join others who had also traveled a bit here in Europe. had travelled away. Some islanders who saw their land torn away from the European Union did not give up the courage to continue talking about their faith on the mainland, they had already managed to pull a pioneer to the New World to walk down the steppes there From there from that United States it went back to Europe where seeds were planted in Great Britain in the late 19th century, but also on the Western European mainland.

They were followers of Dr. John Thomas who wished to make it clear to others that almost two millennia earlier a Nazarene preceptor had brought about a change in the world of faith Yeshua ben Josef, better known here by the name of Jesus Christ, had the way been cleared there in the Middle East for goyim or non-Jews to now possibly come under that large umbrella and be included as members of God’s People.

But to be able to join that People of God one must be willing to do something for it Already from the first century of our era, that was made clear by that Jewish rabbi who had come to fulfill the prophecies as the son of God, his faithful followers too, the apostles, were aware of the importance of what their teacher had to say and why it was necessary for them to explain this further.

Een wereld waar men zich duidelijk kenbaar moet maken #1 Van de eerste naar de 19de eeuw

In deze wereld waar er heel wat tumult plaats vindt, is er weinig ruimte zijn voor de Goddelijke Maker, en houdt de meerderheid van de mensen in onze contreien zich bezig met het vergaren van geld en materiële goederen.

Toch zijn er bepaalde mensen, welke dikwijls als gekken worden aangekeken, die het zich veroorloven verder dan deze aardse wereld te kijken. Zij zijn er vast van overtuigd dat er in de toekomst na een verschrikkelijke oorlog (Wereldoorlog 3 of Armageddon) zich een heel wat betere wereld zal gaan ontplooien waarin mensen volop gelukkig zullen zijn.

Al enkel jaren zijn er zulke mensen in België die anderen er ook van trachten te overtuigen dat er een betere toekomst in het verschiet ligt. Voor lange tijd waren het slechts einzelgängers of eenzame trekkers die van ‘Jet’ naar ‘Jar’ trokken om het Goede Nieuws te verkondigen. Lang moesten ze zich eenzaam voelen in een wereld waar weinig gehoor was voor dat bijzondere nieuws.

Maar in de hoofdstad van Europa begon er zich toch wat te roeren tijdens het voorgaande jaar. Enkele mensen gaven aan dat ze niet meer alleen wensten op te trekken, maar dat ze zich graag wensten aan te sluiten bij anderen die hier in Europa ook al een stukje weg hadden afgelegd. Sommige eilandbewoners die hun land zagen afscheuren van de Europese Unie gaven de moed niet op om op het vaste land verder over hun geloof te blijven praten. Zij hadden al een voortrekker weten naar de Nieuwe Wereld trekken om daar de steppen af te lopen. Van daar uit die Verenigde Staten ging het terug naar Europa waar eind 19de eeuw zaden werden geplant in Groot-Brittannië, maar ook op het West-Europese vaste land.

Het waren volgelingen van Dr. John Thomas die anderen duidelijk wensten te maken dat bijna twee millennia eerder een Nazareense leermeester een kentering in de geloofswereld had teweeg gebracht. Jeshua ben Josef, hier beter gekend onder de naam Jezus Christus, was daar in het Midden Oosten namelijk de weg vrij komen maken voor goyim of niet Joden om nu ook mogelijk onder die grote paraplu te komen en opgenomen te worden als leden van Gods Volk.

Maar om zich bij dat Volk van God te kunnen aansluiten moet men er wel wat voor over hebben. Al van de eerste eeuw van onze tijdrekening werd dat duidelijk gemaakt door die Joodse rabbijn die als zoon van God ter vervulling van de profetieën was gekomen. Ook zijn getrouwe volgelingen, de apostelen, waren zich bewust van de belangrijkheid van wat hun leermeester had te vertellen en waarom het nodig was dat zij dit verder gingen vertellen.

The going wrong of man and God His decision

Even though the first man had everything, he still longed for more. Adam and Eve longed to have as much knowledge as their Creator.

The first thoughts of seduction came to the mannin or woman (Eva/Eve), but she also managed to get her husband to disobey her and eat the fruit of the Tree of knowledge of good and evil. Eve thought the fruit would make her sensible, but when they had eaten it turned out to be very different. They felt uncomfortable and naked.

“6  And the woman saw that the tree was good for food, and that it was a pleasure for the eyes, and the tree was to be desired to give intelligence; and she took of its fruit, and ate, and gave also to her husband with her, and he ate. 7 And the eyes of them both were opened, and they knew that they were naked. And they sewed fig-leaves together, and made themselves aprons.” (Ge 3:6-7 Darby)

The woman had not followed the will of God. Adam, who had been seduced by his partner to also participate in the act of disobedience, was able to recover, but did not. When they heard the Master approaching above all else in the garden when the afternoon wind came up, man and his wife hid from Jehovah God among the trees of the garden. When God called man and asked where they were, Adam replied that he had heard God but had become afraid because he was naked.

“8 And they heard the voice of Jehovah Elohim, walking in the garden in the cool of the day. And Man and his wife hid themselves from the presence of Jehovah Elohim, in the midst of the trees of the garden.”

“9  And Jehovah Elohim called to Man, and said to him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I feared, because I am naked; and I hid myself.” (Ge 3:8-10 Darby)

God wanted to see how they would react further and asked Adam who told them they were naked. The first man blamed everything on the woman whom God had given him as a companion. However, Adam himself could have decided not to eat the fruit. Every person has been given free will by God to make his own decisions.
Each of us has the opportunity to know what is right and wrong and whether or not to follow God’s wishes.

Instead of blaming herself when God asked her how to do such a thing, Eve said it was the snake that had seduced her, on which she went to eat from the tree her fruit.

“9  And Jehovah Elohim called to Man, and said to him, Where art thou? 10 And he said, I heard thy voice in the garden, and I feared, because I am naked; and I hid myself.”

“11  And he said, Who told thee that thou art naked? Hast thou eaten of the tree of which I commanded thee not to eat? 12 And Man said, The woman, whom thou hast given [to be] with me, she gave me of the tree, and I ate. 13 And Jehovah Elohim said to the woman, What is this thou hast done? And the woman said, The serpent deceived me, and I ate.” (Ge 3:9-13 Darby)

When Eve decided to eat the fruit of the Tree of Knowledge, their lives, as well as the fate of creation, were at stake. Adam also did not think about the consequences of what they decided there. They went against God’s will and at that moment became an opponents of God, or a satan.

However, in case man went wrong, what we call « sin« , God already had a plan ready to overcome the consequences of that rebellion.

Provided it was the woman who caused the beginning of a damaged relationship between God and man, God envisioned that a woman would come from someone who would prove that man would be able to fully follow God’s wishes. That offspring from a woman will come to crush evil.

“And I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed; he shall crush thy head, and thou shalt crush his heel.” (Ge 3:15 Darby)

Whoever will put an end to the curse that had now come upon man will be further explained in the Bible and those who will know the Words of God will therefore be able to recognize that sent from God (Jeshua ben Josef or Jesus Christ) the Saviour or Messiah and follow in his footsteps for salvation.

God now had no choice but to let Adam and Eve experience the consequences of their deed. The Tree of Knowledge did bring more knowledge or awareness, but that would also make them feel pain and eventually die, just as God had warned them.

Because of their imperfection, they could no longer stay in the perfect Garden of Eden. That is why God placed them out of the Garden and exiled them to a world where they would have to work to survive.

“22  And Jehovah Elohim said, Behold, Man is become as one of us, to know good and evil. And now, lest he stretch out his hand, and take also of the tree of life, and eat, and live for ever … ! 23 Therefore Jehovah Elohim sent him forth from the garden of Eden, to till the ground from which he was taken. 24 And he drove out Man; and he set the Cherubim, and the flame of the flashing sword, toward the east of the garden of Eden, to guard the way to the tree of life.” (Ge 3:22-24 Darby)

Thus the act of sinfulness as descendants of now imperfect people has come upon us as well. A flawless product cannot come from a damaged dough mold. We too are now faced with those difficulties that Adam, Eve and their descendants had to endure. In the meantime, we already know who the promised saviour is and we can try to get under his wing.

Kudhulumiwa kwa mwanadamu na Mungu uamuzi wake

 

Ingawa mtu wa kwanza alikuwa na kila kitu, bado alitamani zaidi. Adamu na Hawa walitamani kuwa na ujuzi mwingi kama Muumba wao.

Mawazo ya kwanza ya kutongoza yalikuja kwa mannin au mwanamke (Eva), lakini pia alifanikiwa kumfanya mumewe asimtii na kula tunda la Mti wa ujuzi wa mema na mabaya. Eva alifikiri tunda hilo lingemfanya awe na busara, lakini walipokula liligeuka kuwa tofauti sana. Walihisi wasiwasi na uchi.

“6 ^aMwanamke alipoona ya kuwa tunda la mti huo lilikuwa zuri kwa chakula na la kupendeza macho, tena linatamanika kwa kujipatia hekima, basi akachuma katika matunda yake, akala, pia akampa mumewe, aliyekuwa pamoja naye, naye akala. 7 ^bNdipo macho yao wote wawili yakafumbuliwa, wakajiona kwamba walikuwa uchi; hivyo wakashona majani ya mtini, wakajifunika. ” (Ge 3:6-7)

Mwanamke huyo hakuwa amefuata mapenzi ya Mungu. Adamu, ambaye alikuwa ametongozwa na mwenzi wake pia kushiriki katika kitendo cha kutotii, aliweza kupona, lakini hakuweza. Waliposikia Mwalimu akikaribia juu ya yote kwenye bustani wakati upepo wa alasiri ulipotokea, mwanamume na mke wake walijificha kutoka kwa Yehova Mungu kati ya miti ya bustani. Mungu alipomwita mwanadamu na kuuliza walipo, Adamu alijibu kwamba amemsikia Mungu lakini aliogopa kwa sababu alikuwa uchi.

8 ^aNdipo yule mwanaume na mkewe, waliposikia sauti ya Bwana Mwenyezi Mungu alipokuwa akitembea bustanini jioni, wakajificha kutoka mbele za Bwana Mwenyezi Mungu katikati ya miti ya bustani. 9 ^bLakini Bwana Mwenyezi Mungu akamwita Adamu, “Uko wapi?”

10 ^cNaye akajibu, “Nilikusikia katika bustani nikaogopa kwa sababu nilikuwa uchi, hivyo nikajificha.” (Ge 3:8-10)

Mungu alitaka kuona jinsi watakavyoitikia zaidi na akamuuliza Adamu ambaye aliwaambia walikuwa uchi. Mwanamume wa kwanza alilaumu kila kitu kwa mwanamke ambaye Mungu alikuwa amempa kama mwandamani. Hata hivyo, Adamu mwenyewe angeweza kuamua kutokula tunda hilo. Kila mtu amepewa hiari na Mungu kufanya maamuzi yake mwenyewe.
Kila mmoja wetu ana fursa ya kujua ni nini kilicho sawa na kibaya na kama kufuata au kutofuata matakwa ya Mungu.

Badala ya kujilaumu Mungu alipomuuliza jinsi ya kufanya jambo kama hilo, Hawa alisema ni nyoka aliyemtongoza, ambayo alikwenda kula kutoka kwa mti matunda yake.

“11 ^cMungu akamuuliza, “Ni nani aliyekuambia ya kuwa ulikuwa uchi? Je, umekula matunda ya mti niliokuamuru usile?”

12 ^dAdamu akasema, “Huyu mwanamke uliyenipa awe pamoja nami alinipa sehemu ya tunda kutoka kwenye huo mti, nami nikala.”

13 ^eNdipo Bwana Mwenyezi Mungu akamuuliza mwanamke, “Ni nini hili ambalo umelifanya?” Mwanamke akajibu, “Nyoka alinidanganya, nami nikala.” .” (Ge 3:11-13)

Hawa alipoamua kula tunda la Mti wa Maarifa, maisha yao, pamoja na hatima ya uumbaji, yalikuwa hatarini. Adamu pia hakufikiria juu ya matokeo ya kile walichoamua huko. Walienda kinyume na mapenzi ya Mungu na wakati huo wakawa mpinzani wa Mungu, au shetani.

Hata hivyo, endapo mwanadamu angekosea, kile tunachokiita « dhambi », Mungu tayari alikuwa na mpango tayari kushinda matokeo ya uasi huo.

Isipokuwa ni mwanamke aliyesababisha mwanzo wa uhusiano ulioharibika kati ya Mungu na mwanamume, Mungu aliona kwamba mwanamke angetoka kwa mtu ambaye angethibitisha kwamba mwanamume ataweza kufuata kikamilifu matakwa ya Mungu. Kwamba uzao kutoka kwa mwanamke utakuja kuponda uovu.

15 ^aNami nitaweka uadui
kati yako na huyo mwanamke,
na kati ya uzao wako na wake,
yeye atakuponda kichwa,
nawe utamuuma kisigino.” (Ge 3:15)

Yeyote atakayekomesha laana ambayo sasa imempata mwanadamu atafafanuliwa zaidi katika Biblia na wale watakaojua Maneno ya Mungu kwa hiyo kuwa na uwezo wa kutambua yule aliyetumwa kutoka kwa Mungu (Yeshua ben Yosefu au Yesu Kristo) Mwokozi au Masihi na kufuata nyayo zake kwa wokovu.

Mungu sasa hakuwa na chaguo ila kuwaacha Adamu na Hawa wapate matokeo ya tendo lao. Mti wa Maarifa ulileta ujuzi au ufahamu zaidi, lakini hilo lingewafanya pia kuhisi maumivu na hatimaye kufa, kama vile Mungu alivyowaonya.

Kwa sababu ya kutokamilika kwao, hawakuweza tena kukaa katika Bustani kamilifu ya Edeni. Ndiyo maana Mungu aliwaweka nje ya Bustani na kuwapeleka uhamishoni kwenye ulimwengu ambao wangelazimika kufanya kazi ili waendelee kuishi.

“22 ^aKisha Bwana Mwenyezi Mungu akasema, “Sasa mtu huyu amekuwa kama mmoja wetu, kwa kujua mema na mabaya. Sharti asiruhusiwe kunyoosha mkono wake na kuchuma pia kutoka mti wa uzima akala, naye akaishi milele.” 23 ^bHivyo Bwana Mwenyezi Mungu akamfukuzia mbali kutoka Bustani ya Edeni, akalime ardhi ambamo alitolewa. 24 ^cBaada ya kumfukuzia mbali Adamu, Mungu akaweka makerubi mashariki ya Bustani ya Edeni, pamoja na upanga wa moto ukimulika huku na huko kulinda njia ya kuuendea mti wa uzima.” (Ge 3:22-24)

Hivyo tendo la dhambi kama wazao wa watu wasio wakamilifu sasa limetujia pia. Bidhaa isiyo na dosari haiwezi kutoka kwa ukungu wa unga ulioharibiwa. Sisi pia sasa tunakabiliwa na matatizo yale ambayo Adamu, Hawa na wazao wao walipaswa kuvumilia. Wakati huo huo, tayari tunajua mwokozi aliyeahidiwa ni nani na tunaweza kujaribu kuwa chini ya mrengo wake.
